The following was prepared by myself for my own personal enjoyment. I am not writing this for profit or personal gain.
It was done out of respect for an entertainer whom I have admired for well over three decades. Since I have collected
 Anne Murray memorabilia for about that long and have followed her career closely, I feel that I am an expert on the
subject and proud to be so. I believe that she liked being a Canadian at a time when there were few in the entertainment
business. I would guess that in person she must be shy, bashful really and yet must have felt that she had some sort of
talent in order to take the plunge.
It is dedicated to my friend Donna Henriksen of Islip, New York who might very well have beaten me in my area of
expertise. I also would like to acknowlege all the friendships that have developed with fellow Anne Fans who feel exactly the same way I feel about Anne Murray.

This is an one of a kind copy of a book that has really taken me a lifetime to write. I feel that I have been able to express
myself in a personable and entertaining way and I hope that you enjoy it. In the event that I someday make a career out
of writing I have only one person to credit with inspiration and that would be my mother, Vivian Canton. She was the
'star' of our family.
